Are Pets Allowed?
Though we personally love and own dogs (you might see a corgi or two!) the treehouse isn’t pet friendly at this time. Trained and registered service animals are always welcome.
Do you Have AC/Heat?
Absolutely! We have a mini split AC/Heat unit and the treehouse is insulated and fully functional for both summer and winter
How Many Guests Can Stay in the Treehouse?
Pepin Forest Treehouse sleeps up to 4 guests in 3 different bed options (1 Queen, 1 Twin “nook” bed, 1 full-sized sleeper sofa).
How Close are you to the Villa Bellezza Winery?
If you’re traveling to Pepin, Wisconsin for a trip to Villa Bellezza Winery, a wedding, or just to go wine tasting, we are located only 3 minutes away! We’re basically right on the edge of the town limits so you’ll be located super close to any spot in Pepin you’re looking to visit.
How’s the Wifi?
We provide Starlink internet service at the treehouse so you can work, surf, or watch your favorite shows during your time here.
How Secluded is Pepin Forest Treehouse?
If you’re looking for a 100% isolated 40+ acre forested space, this may not be your jam. The treehouse exists in our “backyard” in the woods which means we do reside on the property (2.8 acres). However, we’ve designed the space to have plenty of privacy and, (don’t worry!) we won’t be out bugging you, in fact, we’ll totally leave you alone unless you specifically ask us not to! One of the benefits of this space is the close proximity to the town of Pepin, Wisconsin and the scenic Great River Road where you can drive 10 minutes or less in either direction to explore and shop/eat in the cute little towns of Pepin, Stockholm and Nelson, Wisconsin.
Is There a Cleaning Fee?
We do charge a small cleaning fee in order to provide you with the best-quality space for your stay. However, we charge much less than average comparable-sized properties as we actively work to make your stay attainable and enjoyable.
Is There a Minimum Number of Nights?
In order to get the best experience in the treehouse we offer stays of 2 nights or more, up to 14 nights.
Other Miscellaneous Things to Know:
This treehouse is in the woods so make sure to bring bug spray! We provide outdoor citronella candles to help with the bugs however you’ll definitely want to bring your own bug spray in addition.
We are located right off of the Scenic Highway the Great River Road. It is the perfect spot for an afternoon drive to look at the bluffs and the lake. This Midwest Wisconsin Treehouse is ideal for an anniversary or a couple’s getaway, memorable family trip, girls’ weekend, or solo getaway.
Our Story
Nice to meet you
Why build a treehouse? We have always loved hosting people. Each time we’ve moved, we have always saved a room in our house to have guests stay with us. Hosting, inviting people over, and making meals and helping people to rest away from the stresses of life has always been something that we’ve felt called to. Creating a unique treehouse space is a natural extension of Jennifer’s love for interior design and Anthony’s love and natural talent for hosting. We moved out to Pepin, Wisconsin in 2021 to have more space and to reconnect with nature. We realized soon after that we wanted to share this forest property with others and dreamed up a special way to make that a reality.
